Paddles with a Purpose (PWP) is a team of Dragon Boat paddlers of all ages who have battled and survived, or are currently living with, breast cancer. Formed in 2019 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, PWP became the first breast cancer survivor Dragon Boat racing team in Austin, Texas.
Your sponsorship ensures that we can continue to compete in regional, national, and international competitions against other BCS Dragon Boat racing teams. Our focus is to embrace life and fight to stay healthy despite the disease that brought us together.

Ongoing Needs include:
Liability/Club Insurance: $600/year
Race Registrations: $3,500/year
Equipment/Maintenance: $1,000/year
Help offset costs of team participation in International Race Festivals as designated by the International Breast Cancer Paddler's Commission, held every three to four years. Our goal is to attend the next IBPC race in France, 2026!
